Tell A Bigger Story: Transform Trauma, Unlock Wisdom, Alchemize Your Hard To Tell Stories

ONLINE INTENSIVE: Saturday, November 10 10:00am - 5:00pm PDT

The tides are changing and the stories of women that were once overlooked, minimized, and ignored are ready to be heard.

Women are coming forward to share their stories of abuse, harassment, trespass, boundaries being crossed and feeling like a target or prey.

We are inviting all women to learn how to share these experiences in a way that is healing and transformative.

The #MeToo movement revealed the subtleties of harassment and violation that have gone unnoticed or have been normalized.

It's time to change the story.

It’s time to share what we have learned, so the next generation can be guided to a new way of coming into respectful relationships with each other. Are you ready to use your voice as a tool for healing and transformation? Are you ready to harvest the wisdom and teaching even from the hardest experiences?

Calling All Women who are ready to transform your hard to tell stories to reveal your gifts, strength and resiliency.

In this workshop, you will learn techniques to:

  • Free your voice, so you can use it as a tool for social change
  • Ignite your creativity
  • Alchemize your life experience into a story that provides guidance, wisdom, insight, and opportunities to activate healing in others
  • Develop your unique style of storytelling while learning how to build stories with artistry and craft
  • Step into storytelling as an act of service
  • Call on the teachings offered through ancient mythology that provide guidance for how to live through these times

Are you ready to engage your story like never before?

Story has been one of the most ancient technologies for healing and transforming on our planet. Bring your story to this sacred altar and meet your story as a living being that deserves your respect and reverence. Your story has the capacity to offer magic and perhaps even an unexpected perspective that provides a bridge to healing.

Step into the web as we find the universal truths that live within the threads of our connection.

You will be embraced in a circle where you can activate your innate creativity as you come into relationship with the ancient roots of your story that nourish and sustain the deep humanity.

You don’t need to arrive knowing how to tell your story. You need only the desire to engage and alchemize your story – so that your story can transform the world around you.

Join a global community of women that is committed to telling their stories in a way that heals and transforms the collective wounds of our time.

"My experience was transformative. I was able to work with my own story in an empowered way that helped me bring closure to an old trauma I had suppressed for years.” — Lashanda Brown Sell, PhD

You will experience:

  • Guidance to explore your story so that you can harvest the universal teachings that live within it.
  • Being held as you cross the threshold of being witnessed in your story-- to being able to give your story as a gift to the world.
  • Short teachings on the power of language, the craft of storytelling, techniques to acess creativity, guided meditations, and tools to explore the map of your psyche.
  • The opportunity to develop your story on your own and in intimate groups using our online technology.
  • An understanding of the different kinds of storytelling – so that you can feel into the “voice” that you are being called to speak from.
  • Developing the wisdom and teaching in your story.
  • Exploring the various archetypes that move through all of us as you reveal the consciousness of both the victim, power, hero, elder, wisdom keeper, destroyer, wounded healer.
  • Allowing the creative process to provide a way to explore your story through a variety of formats, including a mythic version and a true narrative.

This workshop is for you if:

  •  You are on the other side of your story. Meaning: there is time and space between you and when this story first took place, you have shared your story with more than one person.
  • You are committed to offer your story in a way that inspires, awakens, and catalyzes others.
  • You feel called to be a “voice” of the feminine at this time- and you are curious to learn more about “how to tell a story.”
  • You have already done some therapeutic healing work with whatever story of pain you are feeling called to bring.
  • You want to be held in a sacred space in the company of other sisters who are feeling called to show up in the world more fully at this time.
  • You are called to access the mythic, bigger picture of your story– so that you may receive deeper insight, inspiration and healing.

You will leave this workshop with:

  • A new way to share your story
  • A story you can share with others in written and spoken form
  • Having forged connections with other women who are inspired to awaken their voices as a tool for social change
  • Inspiration, laughter, connection, and having been bathed in the beauty of bringing artistic form to the world we live in

“To follow Story is to understand the path of healing. Each of our stories is a universe. Each one of us is living a story. To discover its shape and essence is essential to soul making.” Deena Metzger

What this workshop is not:

- This workshop is not designed to be a group therapy session.

- For this reason this is not a space for those who are still triggered in the trauma.

- It is not a psychotherapeutic space, but rather a shared space where you will be supported to translate your personal story into a story that speaks to the thresholds your crossed. Of course, you may not have the words for this yet, which is why you are coming to this workshop.

- If you are reading this and want to attend, but have not shared your story yet, we recommend telling your story 2-3 times to people who are committed to witnessing your sory, and then if you feel ready, please join us.

- Resources: If you do not feel ready to participate in this workshop at this time, but are seeking resources, you may want to look for a local resource list in your community at or speak with someone on their 24 hour hotline.

Praise for Elayne Kalila Doughty and Leah Lamb

"I’ve been walking with a heavy story, in bewilderment of how to relate to it, what to do with it, carrying a sense that it has relationship to a universal human story but not knowing where to begin. Leah helped me spell out the pieces through feeling ALIVE in the story, honoring it, bringing intention to the craft of it, and allowing it to reveal itself to us. I feel like dignity has been brought to my role in these painful stories, and I feel empowered to live in them with awareness and choice. What a healing!” — Kait Singley

"My experience of learning about story with Leah was transformative. I have been struggling for some time with finding my voice and therefore finding my power... My voice got lost in the shuffle of all the hustle of life. I always felt pulled away by what I ‘should’ be doing rather than listening to the wisdom within. But Leah’s course showed up in my life and it has shifted me in a very powerful way. I was able to learn new skills (like working with myth) with ease and flow. But most importantly I was able to work with my own real life story in an empowered way that helped me bring closure to an old trauma I had suppressed for years. If I had to do it over, I would choose this course a thousand times over and over again!" — Lashanda Brown Sell, PhD, Participant in Change Your Story, Change Your Life

Being a part of an impeccable and profound container, especially now during these turbulent times, shall serve any who are called to walk the Priestess Path with the practical, grounded, and masterful guidance of one of the rare living priestesses of our time.” — Dr. Saida Desilets, Author of “Desire” and Advocate of Sexual Sovereignty

"Kind yet firm, loving yet fierce, Leah expertly marries the magic with the mundane as she fluidly guides the unfolding of every soul's unique story. Her ears listen for the deeper currents flowing beneath the words and actions, her words call each participant more fully to life, her eyes sparkle with the radiance of aligned purpose, and her heart sings the siren song of remembrance and returning. Leah's work is an imperative service to the great turning of our world and culture, and her devotion to the mystery invites all that work with her to step into their unique embodied expression of medicine and purpose through the weaving of the great mythological unfolding of each and every life. If you are ready for true transformation of the tales you tell and the germination of the seeds of growth within your soul, step into Leah's circle and surrender to the greater story that is longing to live through you." — Hannah Jermstad
